Rough Cut - Class Premiere

On Thursday 1st March, the rough cut of the Dynamic productions music video was shown to our fellow class members. This allowed us to collect vital feedback to create a stronger revised version of our video. It was originally decided that a second version of our video would be created based on the evaluative comments of our class, however instead it was decided to continuously show our video with improvements to fellow class members of our class and also ordinary members of the public, this was done so that evaluative comments of aspects such as camera shots and effects could be collected from our class, and emotional responses from people who do not study media could be collected from ordinary members of the public meaning a range of comments from a wide range of viewpoints could be collected. Whilst our class members were viewing the video they were asked to evaluate it using reception theory and uses and gratification theory and also to assess the any improvements that could be made.
